The benefits of volunteering with Document
Exciting opportunity to gain real experience as part of a small team which delivers a unique professional festival in Glasgow.
The opportunity to educate and immerse yourself in some of the most important issues affecting the world today.
Work experience within the film festival industry and associated community.
The opportunity to meet local and international filmmakers, campaigners, academics and activists, and to work in partnership with organisations in the human rights field.
Access to all screenings and associated events, including panel discussions, exhibitions and music events.

Volunteering
Wendy Miller: Press Officer
Wendy is a Glasgow-based playwright and co-founder of spoken word collective Monosyllabic. Her first play Even In Another Time was shown at Glasgay! 2009. The following year Wendy directed and co-wrote The Bridge with Rachel Amey, which enjoyed a five-night run at the Arches. Formerly a full-time journalist, she has a history of working with and documenting the experiences of Scotland’s asylum seekers and refugees.
Loretta Dunn: Marketing Officer
Loretta studied Visual Communication at Glasgow School of Art before completing her degree in Graphic Design for Multimedia at Caledonian University. She has worked in music promotions and marketing, acted in theatre and film and worked as a web and graphic designer in Melbourne whilst travelling Australia and the Far East. Returning to her beloved home of Glasgow after three years in Brighton, Loretta now combines her skills by working on design commissions, producing her own range of greetings cards and wedding invites under the name LollyPopArt, whilst conceptualising and arranging events and marketing for Document film festival.
